Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined based on your permanent residential address.
Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and may enrol at another school, if there are available places.
The Department of Education has identified Featherbrook P-9 College is under enrolment pressure and has provided the school with an Enrolment Management Implementation Plan.
This plan specifies entry criteria for Featherbrook P-9 College under section 2.2.16 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic).
Approved entry criteria for Featherbrook P-9 College for the 2024/2025 school year are:
• Students who live within the school zone (guaranteed entry)
• Students with a sibling attending the school at the same time (priority 1 of the priority order of placement)
• Students seeking enrolment on legitimate compassionate grounds. Students seeking placement in all year levels must meet one of the above criteria to be eligible for enrolment in 2024.
This enrolment restriction will be reviewed yearly and will take into consideration any fluctuations to accommodation and in-zone demand.
Student enrolment forms may be collected from the office between 8:15am – 3:45pm Monday to Friday. When returning the completed form, please ensure all supporting documents, including proof of residence are provided.
