Footy Colours day

15.10.20

Fight Cancer Foundations Footy Colours Day is a national community fundraising campaign that helps kids with cancer stay connected with their school community. Every year, more than 950 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer in Australia. These kids are absent from school for long periods while they are receiving treatment. The Foundation’s programs help kids maintain their education and connections with their school and friends

Year 1 students above certainly got into the spirit of Footy Colours Day and came to school dressed in their favourite team colours!

A big congratulations and huge thank you to those who have contributed to the Footy Colours Day fund to raise money for the Fight Cancer Foundation. It absolutely warms our hearts to know that even during this difficult and unprecedented time, families are still willing to open their hearts to support this amazing cause. Thanks to the wonderful efforts of our generous community, we well and truly exceeded our goal and raised over $1100.
